3 Formula & method

The user enters the patient's weight in kg. For bolus/STAT drugs, the tool multiplies the per-kg dose by weight and, where a stock concentration is defined, converts that dose into the volume to draw up. For continuous infusions, it computes the drug amount to add to a diluent (with a configurable total volume and concentration multiplier), the resulting final concentration, and a ladder of infusion rates (mL/hr) mapped to their corresponding weight-based doses.
