3 Formula & method

eGFR = 0.413 × Height(cm) / SCr(mg/dL) — the Bedside Schwartz equation, using a fixed k constant of 0.413 for all ages, as stated in the app. Results are staged per the app's KDIGO 2024 table: G1 ≥90 mL/min/1.73m² (Normal or high); G2 60–89 (Mildly decreased); G3a 45–59 (Mildly to moderately decreased); G3b 30–44 (Moderately to severely decreased); G4 15–29 (Severely decreased); G5 under 15 (Kidney failure). The app notes that, absent other markers of kidney damage, G1 and G2 do not by themselves fulfil the criteria for CKD.
