UVC depth (cm) = (3 × birth weight in kg + 9) / 2, plus umbilical stump length; target tip position T8–T9, 0.5–1.0 cm above the right diaphragm. UAC depth (cm): for birth weight ≥ 1500 g, (3 × BW kg) + 9, plus stump length; for birth weight < 1500 g, (4 × BW kg) + 7, plus stump length; target position is Low (L3–L4) or High (T6–T9).
